Members of the Valhalla Fire Department will be holding a donation drive to assist the residents of the Texas area that was severely affected by Hurricane Harvey. The Valhalla Fire Department greatly appreciates any assistance. We are asking for clothing, non-perishable food items, toiletries(ie: tooth paste, toliet paper, soap), water, as well as food for pets.
The donation drive will begin on September 8th and run till September 10th held at our firehouse at 330 Columbus Ave. The hours are as follows: Friday September 8th 4pm to 9pm; Saturday September 9th and September 10th 10am to 9pm both days. Berger Hardware has partnered with the Valhalla Fire Department with collecting donations for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. You can drop items off at their store during business hours. The address is 443 Commerce St, Hawthorne.
If you would like to make a donation in the form of money so the Valhalla Fire Department can purchase goods to be sent out, that will be possible as well.
