The department was dispatched to a reported garbage truck fire in the col-de-sac of Eastview Dr. Upon arrival 2482 located the truck and reported smoke coming from the rear. The contents of the garbage truck were unloaded. Members located a hot spot and cooled the area down. Once all hotspots were hit, units returned to service.
