Yesterday, the Valhalla Fire Department along with Elmsford Fire Department and EMS were dispatched to the Sprain Brook Parkway at the I287 exit for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Responding units were met with heavy traffic conditions leading up to the accident. Once on scene crews stabilized and secured power to all the vehicles, as well as mitigated fluid spill hazards. Patients were transported by Elmsford EMS. Valhalla units cleared shortly after.
